Megan Kennedy is a multidisciplinary artist and writer based in Canberra, Australia.
An interest in memory, communication, data, materiality, experience, process, chronic illness and incidental interventions has led her to experiment with a range of visual media.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Photomedia) and a Certificate IV in Photo Imaging.
Megan's work has been featured in numerous publications including Textiel Magazine, SICK Mag, Bait/Switch, Baby Teeth, SciArt Magazine, The Earth Issue, FAYD Mag, Product Magazine and Polemical Zine. Her textile series The Airways won the Rainbow Prize at the Biblio Art Prize for 2021 and She has contributed to the Everyday Climate Crisis Visual Petition presented to parliament in 2022. Megan is also shortlisted for the Libris Awards Tertiary Artists' Book Prize, established by Artspace Mackay.
Megan is currently undertaking a Masters of Contemporary Art Practice at the Australian National University School of Art and Design.
