Plane Spotting: Boeing 747-8F B-LJH of Cathay Pacific Cargo out of Sydney International Airport - 22 April 2025

Queen of the Skies and late to depart, I caught her climbing out of YSSY, Sydney's International Airport, for a quick hop to Melbourne, then Toowoomba, and on to Hong Kong International (the hub of the aircraft). A few spotters waited for her at Shep's Mound, a dedicated area east of the airfield. Didn't take much on the roll either! Her Highness makes her way.


One of two Boeing 747's owned by Cathay Pacific Cargo (the other aircraft being B-LJN), B-LJH is 13 years old, delivered to the company back in 2012. CN/MSN: 39245. LINE No: 1457.
