Sydney International Airport on New Year's Eve

We took a drive to Sydney International for New Year's Eve. Behind the industrial scape of Tempe, on a nondescript cul-de-sac by a newly routed arterial roadway, I tracked in the progress of incoming heavies. Impossibly large and slow, an Airbus A380-842 (VH-OQB) from Johannesburg sidled a northerly approach, completing a 12-hour transit.
